Peace and love, I stumbled across this blog while researching Fatiha. I am the creative assist to Najjar Abdul Musawwir an African American Muslim abstract painter. Peace and love, I discovered this blog after researching the term Al-Fatiha. I am the research assistant to an African American Muslim abstract painter Najjar Abdul-Musawwir. He has a series called Fatiha (The door of return). Najjar (inshallah) in the summer of 2011 will be the artist in residence at the National Museum of Malaysia.
I would like to set up a time for you and Najjar to dialogue about the psychological influences of art on well being.
